CUSTOM’S awareness of the consequences that its manufacturing activities and products can inflict upon the environment guarantees that it meets all environmental legislative requirements, without detriment to the quality of its products or to its competitiveness in all segments of the market in which it operates.

For this reason, CUSTOM endorses the following directives:

As of 1 July 2006, all products launched on the market by CUSTOM conform with the RoHs Regulation (Directive 2002/95/EC) which prohibits the use of chemical substances deemed to be dangerous in electrical and electronic equipment. RoHS


CUSTOM is listed on the national register of EEE manufacturers and on that of battery producers, and is responsible for the correct management and disposal of the equipment through the ECOR’IT consortium, of which it is a member.

The products made by CUSTOM comply with the requirements of the REACH regulation which deals with the evaluation of the properties of the various chemical substances in order to identify any health-related or environmental risks. reach


In keeping with its own environmental policy, CUSTOM adopts a line of action oriented at compliance, now and in the future, with environmental legislation, with environmental regulations and with any other requirements recognized and selected by CUSTOM itself. This approach takes the tangible form of committed ongoing training with its employees, with its suppliers and with the local community, for the purpose of improving overall environmental performance.

When developing its products, CUSTOM uses methods and criteria designed to minimize environmental impact both at the manufacturing stage and during use, paying particular attention to energy saving, to the selection and quantity of components used and to their packaging: all parts making up the product are fully recyclable, components and packaging alike.

A fundamental aim of CUSTOM’s environmental policy is continual improvement, sustained by the promotion and dissemination of the environmental management system at all levels of the company. 		green
